Sarah Irish has been a middle school teacher in a one-to-one device setting for her entire career. She started as a classroom math, science, and gifted and talented teacher and then transitioned to the role of technology integrationist. Sarah currently works at Lewiston Middle School as a technology integrationist and finds that this is a great combination of her skills, talents, and knowledge which challenges her to integrate technology creatively into the classroom. Sarah routinely identifies challenges within the school and then innovatively leverages technology to streamline the system. She has facilitated and spoken at many workshops and conferences on the integration of technology into the classroom, as well as teaching in a middle school setting. She received her undergraduate in environmental science from Simmons College, a master’s degree in middle-level mathematics from Walden University, and a Ph.D. in educational technology also from Walden University.
